Stompin Rock Out at the ABAF awards
Thursday 11th September Stompin was invited to perform at the 2008 ABAF awards. We were also nominated for an award and to every ones delight, especially Sarahs WE WON!! Stompin and the partnership they have with Group Work won the KMPG Advicebank Award. 6 of our rocking dancers left bright and early for the trip down to Hobart. We drove for 2 1/2 hours for a 5 minute performance, grabbed our award and some icecream to come straight back to Launceston. We went straight to rehearsals, made some crazy choreography and slept very well that night. Well done, Ali, Roisin, Shannon and performing for Stompin for the first time, Ava, Tess and Ellen.
