Stompin Community Program

This program is a powerful resource for recruiting future Stompin members and provides us a way to offer community members that fall outside our target demographic of 13-30 a chance to move if they desire it.  This program includes:

Dance @ Stompin

Dance @ Stompin is an intermediate contemporary dance course designed to introduce participants with some dance experience to the specifics of contemporary dance technique in an entertaining and encouraging environment. Participants will learn a series of exercises that warm the body up in a sequential manner. From there larger movement sequences will be learnt, and built upon each week. Specifically these classes will allow participants to: develop technical skill; improve flexibility; Develop dance specific strength and develop body awareness.

Core and Flex

Core and Flex is a perfect combination of yoga, pilates, and strength conditioning. This class is focused on training the body in a holistic, functional way, beginning from breath and the core. In this course, breath and movement combine to give you a gentle, effective all over workout and stretch. This class is suitable for everyone, and can be adapted to suit any fitness level. Please bring a yoga mat and water.

Stompin In School Workshops

These workshop are individually designed with close consultation with the teacher and school and will address their dance and artistic needs in a very personal way.
