Dance @ Stompin
Stompin In Studio Classes & Workshops
Stompin will be hosting blocks of contemporary dance classes especially for upper primary school children from ages 10-13 years. The four week block of classes will develop the participants co-ordination, creative skills and basic contemporary technique, all in a fun, non-competitive and supportive environment.
Stompin's Artistic Director Caitlin Comerford will guide the dancers through a warm up, some simple exercises including improvisation and technique skills. Stompin classes aim to engage young people to be curious, creative, active and healthy.
Every Friday in July 4:30pm-5:30pm (7th, 14th, 21st, 28th)
The Drawing Room at University of Tasmania, Inveresk.
Every Friday in August 4:30pm-5:30pm (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
The Annex Theatre Rehearsal Room at University of Tasmania (Inveresk).
$15 per class or $50 up front for the block (cash or direct deposit only).

July Workshop - Bec Jones
In this contemporary dance workshop, Bec will look at momentum in movement for partnering, trust, counterbalance and playing with both traditional and improvised ways of connecting.
Saturday 29th July at 10:30am-12noon

$20 per person on the door
This workshop is for those with some dance experience aged 13+
