October
Adam Wheeler, former Stomper, now professional dancer and fiery emerging choreographer is creating a hot new dance work – Uncover This. The work explores themes of deception and cover-up, performed in residential houses throughout Launceston. Adam is the first recipient of the Stompin Fellowship, returning home and developing new dance work with the company.

Stompin’s workshops for anyone aged 13-35 who wants to dance. Throughout the year Stompin hosts a line up of some of Tasmania’s and Australia’s best contemporary dancers to teach new skills in dance and movement.
Creative Development
Luke George, Artistic Director of Stompin, will begin a creative and conceptual development for a new Stompin work to be made over 2009/2010. Exploring relationship/distance between real and virtual landscapes and spaces and working with screen based media, music and dance.
