Where the metallic meets the organic. Explore your inner rev-head in a site- specific, multi-art mash-up exploring our love affair with cars and the way they literally connect and separate us.

Launceston. The undisputed ‘blockie’ capital of Australia. On any given night boys and girls hook up, hang out and drive. Round and round. Stompin, Launceston’s youth contemporary dance company, celebrates the quintessentially Tasmanian notion of the 'blockie', we explore issues of freedom, escape, identity, autonomy and belonging.

Automotive Training Complex, Skills Institute, Alanvale, Launceston.

Stompin’s incredibly talented team of artists will collaborate with 25 young, non-professional performers from Launceston, aged 14-30.
