Operations Coordinator & Administration Support Officer

Based in Launceston, we're one of Australia's leading youth dance organisations, bringing together professional artists and young people to create unforgettable performances in both ordinary and extraordinary places.

As we continue to strengthen and grow our organisation, we're looking for (2) two organised, enthusiastic and values-driven people to join our team.


Operations Coordinator - 15 hours per week (0.4 FTE)

Reporting to the Artistic Director, this role is responsible for keeping Stompin operating smoothly behind the scenes.

You'll coordinate:

  • Program and production logistics

  • Finance administration

  • HR and contractor administration

  • Governance and compliance

  • Child safety administration

  • Organisational systems

  • Stakeholder communications

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who loves creating structure, solving problems and making things happen.

Administration Support Officer - 7.5 hours per week (0.2 FTE)

Supporting the Operations Coordinator, you'll help keep the dance company organised and running efficiently through high-quality administrative support.

Responsibilities include:

  • General office administration

  • Managing the shared inbox

  • Data entry and document management

  • Board meeting administration

  • Participant enrolments

  • Attendance records

  • Event administration

  • Family and participant communications

This role would suit someone who enjoys being organised, has exceptional attention to detail and loves helping others.


About You

For either role, you'll bring:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A positive, collaborative attitude

  • High attention to detail

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office 365

  • The ability to work independently while supporting a small, passionate team

Experience working in administration, community organisations, education, arts or the not-for-profit sector will be highly regarded.
